Women in Aerospace (WIA) was founded over 25 years ago in the USA and since then has grown from strength to strength.
Interim sister organisations have been founded in Canada, Europe and now Africa.
WIA is dedicated to expanding women’s opportunities for leadership and increasing their visibility in the aerospace community.

Increase undergraduate and postgraduate opportunities for African women in aerospace and engineering (Potentially a funding programme)
Work with industry and Government to increase employment opportunities for women in aerospace and engineering
Implement school level awareness programme for young women (With a view to expand to a mentorship programme)
Increase the leadership capabilities and visibility of women in the aerospace community
Organise programs, seminars and conferences for women in aerospace industry in Nigeria
Implement graduate internship programme
